Job summary

NTUC Health Co-operative Limited in Singapore is seeking an Exercise Trainer to conduct fitness programmes for seniors under its Active Ageing Services. You will lead group classes, perform pre- and post-programme assessments, and ensure a safe, hygienic environment for clients.

You should hold a WSQ/Advance Certificate in Therapy Services or related fitness qualification, have at least 2 years of experience, and be comfortable with change and new programmes.

Qualifications

• Possess a WSQ Certificate / Advance Certificate in Therapy Services, or Certificate or Diploma in related Sports, fitness training or related fields.
• Have at least 2 years of experience conducting fitness classes
• Have a lively personality with engaging communication skills
• Be comfortable with change and new programmes
• Be first aid certified
• Possess experience working with elderly clients

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness classes for seniors
• Receive training on new fitness programmes that will be introduced regularly
• Conduct pre- and post-programme assessments for clients
• Attend to walk-in customers
• Maintain a safe, hygienic and conducive environment
• Maintain client records and mark attendance in the system
• Participate in marketing/promotional activities to promote NTUC Health’s active ageing services
• Maintain inventory of equipment used for exercise programmes
• Participate in team meetings and other operational tasks as needed
