Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our client in the North-East of Singapore. The role focuses on embedded firmware development for power conversion systems, including verification and new product introductions.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of hands-on experience with microcontrollers/DSPs, C/C++, and networking protocols. Strong collaboration with hardware teams and a drive for robust, cost‑effective solutions is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Experience with microcontrollers/DSPs (Microchip/TI/ST) and debugging.
• Proficiency in C/C++, and familiarity with GUI development in C#.
• Experience implementing I2C, SPI, RS‑485, PMBus, Modbus, Ethernet; knowledge of TCP/IP/WebSocket is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define product requirements with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain embedded firmware for power conversion systems.
• Design firmware architecture and networking capabilities (wired/wireless).
• Implement and debug peripherals, PWM, ADC, PWM/digital filtering.
• Create and execute firmware verification, unit tests, and system integration tests.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure hardware/software compatibility.
• Support product launches, prototypes, and BETA runs; participate in software releases.
