Senior Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis

• Lead monthly closing and forecasting activities across Singapore and Asia Pacific.
• Manage financial reviews for monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as annual budgets.
• Analyze KPIs and deliver insights to local, regional, and headquarters management.
• Prepare, develop, and maintain controlling presentations and financial reports.
• Handle complex and large data sets, translating them into actionable insights.
• Support the team in identifying risks and opportunities.
• Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests from management.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions at local, regional, and HQ levels.
• Provide support for planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Translate management’s financial expectations into actionable goals for different functions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive better decision-making.

Process Improvement

• Initiate improvements for FP&A processes at local and regional levels.
• Drive digitalization initiatives within the finance function, from short- to long-term.
• Develop standardized templates and implement automated solutions.
• Contribute to process harmonization across regions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in Finance and Controlling.
• International work experience is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of project accounting.
• Advanced skills in MS Office 365 (Excel & PowerPoint), SAP, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Proven track record in digital transformation within the commercial function.
• Familiarity with QlikSense and Low-code platforms (e.g., KNIME) is a plus.
• Strong grasp of commercial processes.
• Skilled in stakeholder management in a matrix environment.
• Team-oriented with cross-cultural sensitivity; able to perform well under pressure.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a solution-driven mindset.
• Independent, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail with strong presentation skills.
