A leading beverage company seeks a Financial Analyst to drive financial modeling and analysis for their Appliance product line in Singapore. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and manage financial models to analyze product cost variances, identify trends, and assess their impact on business objectives.
Annual Standard Cost & Forecasting: Lead the standard-setting process for the Appliance product line, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial planning.
Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Development: Support the creation of the AOP through research, data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and comprehensive reporting.
Data Organization & Insights: Extract and structure data from various repositories to refresh financial models and generate actionable insights.
Variance Analysis & Performance Insights: Investigate deviations from forecasts, collaborate with business leaders to identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
Financial Automation & Digitalization: Leverage tools like Power BI to streamline reporting processes, enhance efficiency, and support finance transformation initiatives.
Stakeholder Support & Ad Hoc Analysis: Address inquiries and provide financial analysis to support decision-making across departments.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other finance-related duties as required by management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience & Education: Minimum 7 years of budgeting and financial analysis experience. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
Analytical Expertise: Strong financial analytical skills with a keen ability to assess performance drivers and trends.
Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and experience with MS Office applications. SAP knowledge is a plus.
Adaptability & Multitasking: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Problem-Solving & Initiative: A self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities who thrives with minimal supervision.
Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively partner with stakeholders.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors,especially with contract manufacturer setups, is highly desirable.
