A financial consulting firm in Singapore seeks a finance manager to oversee group consolidation and manage a finance team. The role requires a degree in finance, at least 8 years of experience, and strong analytical and leadership skills. Responsibilities include financial reporting, compliance, and driving process improvements. Competitive compensation package with potential bonuses is offered.
Basic from $7,500 to $9,000 + Bonus
Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Location: Redhill
Responsibilities
Oversee quarterly Group consolidation and financial reporting, including preparation of internal board papers and meeting SGX reporting requirements.
Lead annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, ensuring timely submissions and alignment with management expectations.
Prepare annual consolidated statutory accounts and manage external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal controls.
Handle all SGX compliance matters and related announcements.
Support board presentations with relevant financial analysis and insights.
Supervise Group treasury operations, including cash flow planning and banking relationships.
Manage and develop a team of 5 finance professionals.
Conduct financial benchmarking and industry analysis for management reporting.
Assist in M&A evaluation and support investment/divestment activities.
Drive periodic reviews of Financial Authorisation Limits.
Lead finance process improvement, automation, and reporting structure enhancements.
Requirements
Min. degree in Accountancy/Finance; CA/CPA/ACCA preferred.
Min. 8 years’ experience, including team leadership and consolidation.
Familiarity and relevant experience with Singapore FRS, tax, and SGX listing rules.
Hands-on with operational finance and adept at stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
