Job description

We are partnering with a well-established player in the container shipping industry to identify a dynamic and strategic Regional Finance Director. This leadership role will oversee regional consolidation, statutory reporting, financial planning & analysis, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex group consolidation and ensure accurate monthly and statutory reporting.
• Drive regional FP&A, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Partner closely with country teams on regulatory, tax, and audit matters.
• Spearhead finance transformation initiatives, improving processes and systems.
• Manage treasury, corporate finance, and risk functions while ensuring governance and compliance.
• Act as a financial business partner to regional leadership, delivering actionable insights to support commercial decisions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting (ACCA/CPA preferred).
• At least 10 years of experience, with prior Big 4 and corporate finance exposure.
• Proven leadership experience in a shipping, logistics, or international trade environment.
• Strong understanding of regional tax, statutory, and reporting regulations.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin due to stakeholder engagement across Asia.
