Location: Central

Working Hours:Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm

Salary: Up to $4,500 per month

Job Description:

  • Manage monthly and year-end financial closing processes, providing detailed variance analysis between actuals and budget.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, audit reports, and corporate filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Oversee grant claim preparations, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and timely submission to funding agencies and government bodies.

  • Maintain and enforce robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard financial assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes, enhance efficiency, and support organizational goals.

  • Assist in testing new financial systems, reviewing workflows, and conducting user acceptance testing as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the social service or non-profit sector.

  • Proven experience working with external auditors, tax agents, and other external parties to ensure statutory compliance.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

  • Proficient in financial management software, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, and other relevant tools.
