Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to ensure the integrity of financial processes and compliance with regulations. Qualifications

  • At least 3–5 years of relevant working experience in accounting/finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations.
  • Prior experience in a SME, consultancy, or multi-entity environment is an advantage.

Job Description

As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial processes, reporting accuracy, and compliance with statutory requirements. You will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, support budgeting activities, and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST filings, tax matters, and statutory compliance
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Support process improvements, cost controls, and system enhancements
  • Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations, if applicable
  • Guide and supervise junior finance staff where necessary
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant working experience in accounting/finance
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or SAP) and MS Excel
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Prior experience in a SME, consultancy, or multi-entity environment is an advantage
