A reputable consulting firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Accountant to handle full accounting functions, including payroll preparation, financial reporting, and liaising with external auditors. Candidates should possess a diploma or professional qualifications in accountancy and at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Job Description & Requirements
Report to Assistance Finance Manager, Senior Manager, and Manager (Shared Services)
Perform full set of accounts
Support payroll preparation
Perform bank reconciliations
Prepare progress claims and submit to clients
Prepare month-end closing
Prepare cash flow projections and budgeting for each project
Prepare monthly management reports, yearly budgets, and profitability analyses
Liaise with external auditors and tax agents
Prepare, file, and submit CPF, GST, and tax returns
Check stand-in payments and provide costing advice
Prepare and process invoices
Manage bank loans, facilities, and hire purchase
Oversee Finance Executive
Requirements:
Diploma or professional qualifications in accountancy
Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, advantageous if experienced in construction industry
Ability to multitask and work with cross-departmental teams
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Possess a positive working attitude
