Responsibilities

Oversee and review the Company’s finance responsibilities.
Provide support to senior management in managing operations against budget plus strategic goals on a daily, monthly and annual basis.
Develop long-term business plans based on these reports.
Prepare annual audited financial statements.
Liaise with external service providers like fund administrators, auditors and tax agents.
Prepare / review monthly management accounts.
Compute / review and submit quarterly GST returns to ensure compliance with GST laws.
Review corporate income tax provisions / returns, individual income tax and related tax work.
Look into strengthening current internal control and process improvement.
Risk-based capital management - prepare risk-based capital calculations every month.
Monitor financial, corporate regulatory, MAS-related or ACRA-related timelines of the company and ensure requisite returns are filed on a timely basis.
Manage bank account opening processes and dealing with banks.
Assist management in sense-making and financial analytics.
