Job Description


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to support key financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, contribute to business decision-making, and play a critical role in shaping financial strategies. This position offers the opportunity to gain exposure to high-level financial processes and work cross-functionally to provide actionable insights that drive performance and efficiency.

Core responsibilities.

1. Support Financial Planning & Analysis Activities

You will be integral in assisting the Senior Finance Manager with a variety of strategic FP&A processes, including Standards Setting, Long-Range Planning (LRP), and Latest Best Estimate (LBE) forecasting. This includes:

  • Maintaining and updating financial models and working files throughout multiple review cycles.
  • Contributing to scenario planning and ad-hoc financial modeling, providing clarity for decision-makers.

2. Lead Performance Review Process

Take ownership of key financial metrics, focusing on spend, headcount, and project expenses:

  • Conduct thorough operational analyses to identify inefficiencies and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare clear, actionable reports for monthly and quarterly business reviews, providing stakeholders with valuable financial insights.
  • Design engaging, visually appealing dashboards and presentations using advanced Excel and Power BI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Shared Services and Manufacturing, to gather necessary data and deliver impactful insights.
  • Integrate and streamline data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity in monthly Power BI dashboard updates.

3. Data Integrity and Quality Assurance

You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial data:

  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Implement and uphold data quality standards to ensure that financial information is reliable and actionable.

4. Purchase Order & Shopping Cart Oversight

  • Oversee the aging metrics of shopping carts and purchase orders to ensure timely processing and resolution.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities

  • Regularly review and suggest improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Take on additional ad-hoc duties as assigned, contributing to ongoing projects and departmental goals.


Qualifications


  • Degree in Finance or Accounting, 4-5 years of FP&A experience
  • Strong experience in Excel is required.
  • Power BI, SAP experience preferred.
  • Self-driven and highly motivated individual.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
