Senior Finance Analyst - Business Partnering, Technology Finance Center of Excellence

As a Senior Finance Analyst - Business Partnering in the Technology Finance Center of Excellence at CommBank, your role will involve supporting the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) by providing financial insights, analysis, and advice related to expense management and the commercial aspects of Technology. You will play a crucial role in delivering financial control, management reporting, decision support, and reporting for strategic initiatives and investment programs within the Technology Business Unit.

Your responsibilities will include preparing actuals, budget, and forecast reports, performing financial control tasks such as journal preparation and account reconciliations, and assisting in the annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting processes. Building strong relationships with stakeholders in Technology, BU Finance, and the CDAO extended leadership team will be essential for success in this role.

You will also review and analyze project and BAU spend, engage in continuous improvement activities to streamline processes, and contribute to developing and implementing new reporting tools. Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, communication abilities, and experience in driving automation within a Finance Centre of Excellence are key requirements for this position.

To qualify, you should have 3 to 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, along with a Qualified CA / CPA / MBA Finance qualification. A solid understanding of Technology Business Management and a risk mindset are also important.
