Job description

In this role as a customer based Senior Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for leading the Singapore field office and delivering comprehensive technical/operational support to airline customers in the Asia Pacific region. This includes managing entry into service processes and overseeing program, logistical, and fleet management activities. The position requires regular interaction internally and with airline technical personnel, power plant engineering, and various departments within the airlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in the Singapore field office.
  • Support existing and potential new Pratt & Whitney customers in the APAC region including but not limited to Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia & Thailand.
  • Deliver technical and operational support to airline customers for various Pratt and Whitney engine models, including assistance outside of business hours.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new airline customers by implementing Entry into Service processes.
  • Proactively investigate and collaborate with airlines to understand fleet issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data for airline customer, including updating internal digital tools.

Customer Relationship:

  • Serve as the primary contact for addressing customers’ technical, operational, and business concerns.
  • Work with a full spectrum of airline company staff, interfacing frequently with personnel at various seniority levels.
  • Provide real-time information to customers and internal stakeholders with confidence.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or related fields with 10+ years of relevant experience in customer support, technical support, flight test, engineering, and/or airline power plant management, or Advanced degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Availability to support customers outside of normal work hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in supporting airline customers as a Field Service Representative, Customer Support Manager, or Technical Service Engineer.
  • Engine troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of P&W products and services.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related applications.
