Job Responsibilities
- Assisting with the execution of Qualcomm’s worldwide compute go-to-market strategy.
- Supporting Qualcomm’s commercial territory sales and channel teams through deep technical engagements with IT implementers, including device evaluations, pilots, and proof-of-concepts.
- Providing enterprise customers with technical guidance on product features to enable quick adoption.
- Supporting the resolution of technical issues with Windows on Snapdragon products related to peripherals, stability, multimedia, etc., which may involve working onsite with customers and technology teams to deliver timely solutions.
- Debugging enterprise application issues by collaborating with platform and technology teams, reproducing issues, and assisting in detailed triage, analysis, and resolution.
- Analyzing and root causing application issues on customer software/hardware systems.
- Engaging with customers to understand their design requirements, providing training, and publishing relevant documentation.
- Interacting with subject matter experts to ensure the quality and accuracy of new features.
- Working in cross-functional teams to support customer design issues.
- Supporting test development and execution activities on new hardware.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise
- Application development, debugging, and testing with C/C++, with familiarity in embedded system software.
- Experience working and debugging issues in a Windows 11 environment, including using relevant tools.
- Proficiency in software design, debugging techniques, problem solving, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of UEFI architecture and development (PEI, DXE, UEFI).
- Experience with debugging tools such as WinDbg, JTAG, Trace32, or GDB.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, including driver development, debugging, or command line tools like PowerShell.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, with additional experience in embedded HLOS and networking being a plus.
