Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Material/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in Semiconductor Solder Paste and SMT process.
• Knowledge of Die Attach application in semiconductor soldering & sintering material.
• Knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
• Strong skill sets in operating all SMT machines, lab equipment, and technical problem solving.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

About the role

Heraeus Materials Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a full-time Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our team in the Pioneer Sector West Region. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and support to our customers, ensuring the successful application and operation of our products and solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for technical support in assembly materials that include solder wire, solder paste product (for SMT & SiP module) and Pressure/Non-pressure sinter paste for APAC customers.

• Data collection using all related equipment in the lab, analyze and propose solutions and improvements for enhancing robustness of Heraeus assembly materials. These includes collaboration with external 3rd party external lab services.

• Provide technical consultation and guidance to customers on the application of Heraeus assembly materials for customers’ product application.

• Provide on-site customer support with capabilities and understanding of related Heraeus product, process flow, equipment and process windows for problem solving and analysis.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Material/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience

• At least 8 years of experience in Semiconductor Solder Paste and SMT process. Experience in power module or SiP package is preferred

• Knowledge of Die Attach application in semiconductor soldering & sintering material, their process, technology and failure analysis

• Knowledge on use of software like MS Office, Minitab or JMP, AutoCAD

• Knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

• Strong skill sets in operating all SMT machine, Lab equipment, Technical Problem Solving, Design of Experiments (DOE), FA & CSAM

• Good communication and presentation skill.

• Frequent travel about 50 - 70%
