Job summary

Kris Infotech : Technology & Talent - Synced is seeking an experienced Senior L2 Application Support Engineer to join a banking environment in Singapore, focusing on FAST Payments and related payment applications.

You will own incident management, collaborate with L3 teams and vendors, support deployments, monitors, and ensure timely resolution of service requests while maintaining high service quality in a fast-paced financial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of Application Support experience in Banking/Financial Services
• Solid track record supporting FAST payment systems and payment applications
• Good grasp of payment transaction processing and banking operations
• Understanding of CIF and customer master data management
• Experience supporting COTS applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent support activities and projects
• Experience leading a support team, balancing BAU, enhancements, and project work
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and act proactively, rather than waiting to be told what to do
• Deliver responsive, service-oriented support that resolves user issues efficiently
• Provide technical and non-technical support to the Singapore Branch
• Communicate clearly and professionally with users, technical teams, vendors, and senior leadership
• Translate technical issues into business terms - covering impact, risk, workarounds, and resolution status
• Build strong working relationships across business, vendor, and internal support teams
• Coordinate across teams to ensure application issues and service requests are resolved on time
• Support FAST Payment systems (primary focus, ~80% of technical scope)
• Handle troubleshooting, incident investigation, and service requests
• Support releases, change requests, enhancements, and post-deployment validation
