Qualifications

Job description

Our client specializing in integrated facilities and property management services. They are looking for a Senior Facilities Manager to assist their Facility team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in Town – easily accessible.


Duties

  • Facilities Management Oversight: Lead and manage all aspects of facilities operations, including maintenance, safety, inspections, and tenant services.
  • Client & Compliance Coordination: Liaise with clients on maintenance schedules, defect rectifications, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations through inspections and timely reporting.
  • Technical Support & Emergency Response: Supervise emergency repairs and breakdowns while providing technical guidance to internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Workplace Safety & Risk Management: Manage workplace health and safety, oversee Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes, review risk assessments, and conduct spot checks.
  • Operational & Contractual Administration: Prepare progress reports, certify completed works, handle variation orders, and support contract and budget administration.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Mentor junior staff, ensure high service standards, resolve complex tenant issues, and represent the client in key operational decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior facilities management role, with proven experience managing large-scale properties.
  • Possess a Valid Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification with at least 3 years of FSM experience.
  • Experience in the successful handover of at least two new developments in the last 5 years.
  • Experience in Public Space Management
