Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Senior Associate Engineer in Facilities Engineering to oversee plant operations for the Singapore Fab facilities. You will lead, liaise and coordinate with FMS staff, ensure timely responses to issues, and support incident escalation and investigations while maintaining safety and environmental programs.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Controls or Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience on M&E or UPW systems, along with

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Controls, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of work experience on M&E or UPW system.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills on M&E or UPW systems.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Facility plant operations for the respective Fab facilities.
• Lead, liaise and coordinate with FMS staff; ensure timely response to issues.
• Support incident escalation procedures and incident investigations.
• Highlight and represent Fab operational issues in daily pass-down meetings; follow-up with System Engineers.
• Participate as an Emergency Response Team (ERT) member and ensure Plant Emergency Response Procedures are followed.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support EHS & Security programs.
