Job summary

A*STAR RESEARCH ENTITIES is seeking personnel for wafer processing in Science Park or One North. You will operate semiconductor equipment, perform measurements, and participate in data collection and tool-time coordination.

The role requires 9–10 hour cleanroom shifts, ability to transport wafers, and strong commitment to EHS procedures. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

Nitec/Higher Nitec in Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
Strong adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures.
Proficient in operating semiconductor equipment and basic troubleshooting.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wafer processing is a plus.
Able to transport wafers in cleanroom and coordinate logistics.
Independent, responsible, able to work in a team and long shifts in cleanroom.

Responsibilities

Operate semiconductor equipment to perform processes, measurement, and inspection of wafers.
Monitor basic equipment/process errors and perform recovery.
Coordinate with internal/external parties for tool time and data feedback to integration owner.
Transport wafer lots between equipment and worksites.
Identify and address potential improvements for cycle time, utilization, and cost.
Follow Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures and requirements.
