Job summary

Shopee is seeking a senior technical lead to architect and drive the Business Security Platform, leveraging AI/LLM technologies to automate risk discovery, analysis, and governance. You will shape end-to-end workflows, build scalable services for anti-fraud, anti-scam, payments, and account security, and deliver reusable data computing products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in LLM application development and production implementation, with deep understanding of Context Engineering, AI Agents, Evaluation Frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and core capability development of the Business Security Platform using AI/LLM technologies for end-to-end risk workflows.
• Design and implement high-performance, scalable platform services for anti-fraud, anti-scam, payments, and account security.
• Build data computing and data service capabilities for risk decisioning with reusable data computing products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience in LLM application development and production implementation, with a deep understanding of Context Engineering, AI Agents, Evaluation Frameworks, Vibe Coding / AI-assisted engineering, and related technologies.
• Proven experience in designing, optimizing, and operating high-concurrency, high-availability, distributed backend services.
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Go or Java, with strong engineering practices.
• Strong problem-solving, abstraction, and system design skills, with the ability to translate complex business logic into scalable and reusable platform capabilities.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset, strong ownership, and result orientation.
• Experience in anti-fraud, security platforms, data computing platforms, or AI platforms is preferred.
• Experience in team management, technical mentoring, or leading the design and development of core modules in large-scale systems is a strong plus.
