Overview

As a Senior Experience Designer, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and sector experts to shape the future of products, ensuring they align with the needs of patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. Your primary focus will be on designing for web and mobile platforms, presenting a unique challenge suitable for a versatile and dynamic senior designer.

You will play a key role in the product design process from strategy and discovery to concept creation, wireframing, testing, and beyond. Reporting to the Director of UX, your responsibilities will involve working closely with the broader product team and cross-functional project teams to bring Best Buy Health's vision to life.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in all design phases, from researching user needs to wireframing concepts, creating mockups, conducting testing, and refining solutions
• Engage directly with customers, internal stakeholders, and end users on co-creation initiatives, facilitating workshops and design sessions/reviews
• Develop UX artefacts such as sketches, storyboards, task flows, wireframes, and prototypes in suitable formats that meet quality and accessibility standards
• Establish seamless user journeys across digital and physical mediums
• Collaborate with various teams within Best Buy Health, including Engineering, Clinical, Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation across multiple time zones
• Provide mentorship to other members of the UX team

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience as an Experience Designer

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable items
• Profound understanding and practical experience in interface design, interaction design, and prototyping
• Extensive experience in crafting UX artefacts for responsive web and mobile applications
• Effective communication of design processes, ideas, and solutions to teammates, Engineers, and key stakeholders
• Proficiency in industry tools such as Figma, Miro, etc.
• Experience in the healthcare sector
