Job description

(Contract position)

Job Description:

Play a critical role in developing the organisation’s overall strategy in alignment with its Mission, and Vision and support the development and assessment of divisional strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the report preparation on community trends and socio-economic issues
  • Liaise with the vendors for planning interactive/customized workshops for the leadership team
  • Assist with the execution of the Annual Work Plan and Review exercises
  • Support the consolidation of programme outreach for the Annual report
  • Assist with the review of New Programmes/Initiatives and Strategic Planning Manual.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of exercises like submission, analysis and update to the divisional KPIs
  • Collaborate with the various departments for reviewing work plans and defining SMART KPIs to promote effective monitoring, reporting, and strategy formulation
  • Assist with annual and mid-year and Work Plan exercises and submit the reports for review
  • Assist the Customer Relationship Management system’s requirements
  • Provide Secretariat Support for Key Management Meetings (quarterly & annually)
  • Participate in Divisional and SINDA-wide events when required
  • Assist with any other projects assigned

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Business administration, Economics or a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in facilitating work plan exercises, data collation, and analysis in corporate, government or non-governmental sectors
  • Familiar with strategic planning and corporate secretariat functions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders across various levels
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, word and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of SQL, Tableau and Python is an added advantage
  • Good Qualitative and Quantitative data analysis skills

This is a 2- year contract position, convertible to a permanent role subject to the performance and divisional requirements
