Job description

The Senior Executive, Strategic Business Planning & Analytics (2-years renewable contract) will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making through research, analytics, and market intelligence. This position supports strategic planning, business reviews, and reporting, providing actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders and senior management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a data-driven understanding of MFLG customers through research and analytics.
  • Collaborate proactively across departments to frame business issues into research questions, design appropriate studies, and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyse industry trends, competitive activity, and other key indicators to inform business strategies.
  • Support business reviews and management reporting through insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of business and market intelligence datasets from backend to frontend.
  • Streamline and optimise reporting processes through data synchronisation, standardisation, and automation.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Analytics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in primary and market research.
  • Experience in qualitative analysis is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI is pa good to have.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful self-starter with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrated competencies in creativity, adaptability, teamwork, and time management.
  • Accountability for task ownership, timely completion of assignments, and delivery of high-quality outputs.
