About Department and Purpose of the Position
NCIS is establishing a new Stem Cell Therapy Hub (SCTH) as part of the expansion of its Specialised Programmes (specifically Cellular Therapy and Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant) and to become a Reference Centre of Excellence. We are looking for a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager (Equipment Maintenance Engineer) responsible for designing, implementing and managing equipment maintenance programs for our manufacturing and lab equipment, and ensuring smooth operation of the SCTH manufacturing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment qualification and maintenance activities are planned and executed in a timely and compliant manner. He/she will work closely with equipment owners and operation teams to schedule preventive maintenance, handle unplanned corrective actions, and conduct regular inspection of equipment and systems to minimize process interruption.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance and equipment qualification activities.
  2. Manage detailed maintenance schedules and work orders.
  3. Work with equipment owners and operations teams on the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities (PM/CM).
  4. Ensure that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations, cGMP requirements, and industry standards. Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for equipment maintenance and equipment validation-related issues.
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance cost.
  6. Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures.
  7. Procure necessary maintenance supplies and equipment. Work with equipment OEMs, vendors, and contractors on parts availability, labor, and resources as needed.
  8. Collaborate with equipment owners and operation teams to implement process changes, equipment modifications, and system upgrades.
  9. Write and execute validation documents and SOPs for IQ, OQ, PQ for GMP equipment and automated systems.

Key Requirements

  1. Minimum degree in Engineering / Technical / Science or equivalent with minimum two years of relevant working experience.
  2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  3. Excellent organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Good knowledge of safety regulations, GMP, and industry standards.
  5. Understanding of manufacturing/engineering operations in a pharmaceutical, biotechnological, or healthcare industry will be an advantage.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
