Job description

This position is responsible for overseeing and nurturing strategic partnerships with key retail clients in the FMCG sector, including major supermarket chains (e.g., Sheng Siong, Prime, U Star) and petrol kiosks. The role entails cultivating strong, long-term relationships with buyers, store managers, and team leaders to drive sales growth and enhance brand presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major retail chains, supermarkets, and distributors (eg: Sheng Siong, Prime, U Star Supermarket and Petrol Kiosks).
  • Drive contracts closure, competitive pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability.
  • Track sales performance, as well as market trends, and competitors to refine strategies.
  • Meet monthly sales targets and collaborate with internal teams to optimize distribution and merchandising.
  • In charge of forecasting & product availability.
  • Maintain relationship with store managers / team leaders.
  • Reporting to Business Leader of Modern Trade.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of FMCG key account management experience, with Modern Trade expertise preferred.
  • Proven skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship management.
  • Strong sales data analysis, category management, and trade marketing proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills for reporting and presentations.
  • Independent, adaptable, and driven in a competitive, fast-paced environment
  • Must have own vehicle
