A leading transit company is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive to oversee and enhance Rail Reliability reporting and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in engineering and possess at least 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance and optimizing operational standards across various departments.
Primary Objectives of Position
The Executive / Senior Executive is responsible to prepare and reporting of Reliability, Trend Analysis of System Level Failures, Maintainability and Safety.
Main Responsibilities
Rail Reliability Incentive (RRI)
Key Lead for all Reliability Reporting
Preparation of Powerpoint slides for different LTA forums related to Reliability Statistics
Establish a performance monitoring system to analyse Rail Business operational and engineering performance standards, carry out trend analysis and performance benchmarking.
Plan & coordinate and ensure timely submission of Rail Reliability Statistics
Plan & coordinate audits on causes of service delays and ensuring safeguard SBS Transit’ interests in the undertaking and compliance to the relevant regulatory requirements, code of practices, standards, internal policies, and other applicable requirements.
Establishing processes and procedures to ensure a consistent approach in RRI matters; and
Providing periodic updates on RRI matters.
Liaise with Asset Management Team for administration of proposed engineering partnerships that are cross-disciplinary
Coordinate, collate and prepare Performance and Maintenance reports across the different departments submission to the authorities.
The above activities are no means exhaustive and are subjected to amendment whenever is needed.

Minimum Education / Qualifications
Degree in Engineering
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience
Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in Engineering
Knowledge / Skills
Excellent writing, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly adaptable team player who is able to work independently and multitask in a dynamic and fast environment
Good time management and be able to meet tight deadlines
Must be proficient in the use of MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Self-motivated, astute, meticulous and resourceful to produce innovative solutions
Candidates with leadership skills and relevant working experience in rail systems engineering, signalling or communications systems will be an advantage
Good time management and be able to meet tight deadlines
