Job description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renowned wildlife parks, connecting visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces, and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
People
  • Uphold and demonstrate Mandai Wildlife Group values - ETHICS (Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, Care for Wildlife, Sustainability).
  • Coach, train, and motivate retail assistants to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at outlets.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to resolve issues onsite and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Resolve conflicts positively and foster teamwork among team members to promote overall employee well-being.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and address guest queries related to store/park matters.
Product
  • Actively acquire and demonstrate product knowledge, recommending suitable merchandise to guests.
  • Gather and share feedback on product quality, pricing, etc., and report to Managers for follow-up.
  • Maintain visual displays of merchandise and suggest changes when needed.
  • Support and execute product launches and campaigns.
  • Stay informed about park memberships, conservation efforts, and related information to provide a holistic guest experience.
Process
  • Work with Managers to meet financial targets (e.g., sales targets, reducing losses).
  • Lead, plan, and execute periodic stocktakes, ensuring stock accountability.
  • Manage stock ordering to reduce loss of sales opportunities.
  • Operate SAP and point-of-sales systems, ensuring inventory accuracy and revenue collection in compliance with SOPs.
  • Plan staff schedules, staff coverage, and ensure accurate attendance reporting.
  • Collaborate with Managers to improve processes and increase productivity.
Job Requirements
