He/She will be part of the Research Department to help provide research administrative/secretariat support to the research community in SingHealth Polyclinics. The role requires working closely with researchers, collaborators from academic and healthcare institutions as well as government agencies wherever applicable.

The Executive will be an integral member of the research administration team who will handle key responsibilities such as:

  • IRB application submission & management
  • Grant management and tracking of utilized/disbursed funds according to prevailing regulations and policies
  • Close monitoring of research kpis and deliverables
  • Research procurement, processing of vendor invoices and payments
  • Organize research-related training / workshops
  • Provide grant administration support to research teams
  • Liaise with internal/external research stakeholders
  • Provide support in any other daily operational matters/adhoc projects
  • Provide secretariat support – taking accurate meetings for meetings when required

Requirements

  • At least Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences/Nursing) with minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in research administration/project management
  • Highly competent in IT skills (e.g. MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Flexible, adaptable and well-versed with the evolving research landscape in Singapore
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; meticulous - attention to details and accuracy of work and self-directed learner
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to work within given deadlines; able to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good report-writing ability
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision and at the same time a team player with initiative and resourcefulness
