The Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), an autonomous institute of the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), is at the forefront of building capabilities and offering continuing professional development for an effective, innovative and responsive Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector.

This position involves supporting data-driven strategies by analysing complex datasets and creating clear reports and presentations for leadership. You will manage and maintain dynamic data visualisation dashboards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage projects to deliver impactful results. The ideal candidate is creative, innovative, and focused on using data to drive organisational success.

Reporting to the Principal Manager, you will support the data-driven strategies by analysing complex datasets and translating them into clear, compelling reports and presentations for leadership discussions. You will manage, create and maintain dynamic data visualisation dashboards, ensuring that key stakeholders have the insights they need to make informed decisions. This role will require a deep understanding of business processes, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, and managing projects with precision to deliver meaningful outcomes on time.

• Collect, clean and organise data from various internal and external sources.
• Perform data analysis using tools such as Excel and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Power BI) and derive key findings and insights.
• Conduct trend analysis and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare and present regular and ad-hoc reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Work closely with management and teams to understand their needs, create dashboards and reports, manage metrics and deliver useful insights.
• Maintain and improve on existing dashboards based on user feedback and industry best practices.
• Manage and improve on automation of routine data collection and reporting processes.
• Work with vendors or suppliers as part of project deliverables and day-to-day maintenance and operations.
• Learn new tools and technologies and stay updated with industry best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualisation tools e.g. Power BI; knowledge of Fabric and UiPath automation platform is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of business operations and market trends.
• The successful appointee will be based in IAL Campus located at Lifelong Learning Institute next to Paya Lebar MRT station.
