A leading organization in Singapore is seeking a Senior Executive Officer on a 2-year contract to drive strategic planning and knowledge management initiatives. This role involves supporting organizational excellence and managing compliance and risk. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a degree in Business Administration or a related field, with strong interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Job Summary
The Senior Executive Officer (2-year contract) supports the organisation in implementing effective organisational development initiatives such as strategic planning, knowledge and data management, and governance practices. The incumbent is expected to work from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. He/she is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, although he/she may be required to travel out of the office to attend events and meetings.
Key responsibility areas
Strategic Planning and Management
• Manage the strategic planning for the organisation
• Support the exploration, development and implementation of initiatives towards organisational excellence
• Manage the introduction and sustained use of techniques and methods which support an outcome-based approach to performance
Knowledge Management
• Facilitate the integration of information, knowledge, systems, and processes across the organisation
• Champion a knowledge-sharing culture within the organisation
• Support the Corporate Secretariat for internal management meetings
Compliance and Risk Management
• Manager governance and risk management policies and procedures within the organisation
Others
Any other duties as assigned by the HOD.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in organisational development preferred
Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or other relevant disciplines
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stakeholders across different levels
Strong project management and time management skills
Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
Resourceful and takes initiative to effect change
