The Office of Improvement Science (OIS) is an integral part of Changi General Hospital’s transformative journey towards a value-based healthcare system, for patients across the care continuum in the eastern part of Singapore. You will have first-hand opportunities to be intimately involved in the transformation of care processes and contribute to the Hospital’s goals of achieving sustainable excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate improvement projects using known improvement methodologies and ensure that projects are being driven to deliver value to patients and organisation.
  2. Work closely with healthcare stakeholders to design and improve care processes across various care settings e.g., primary care and care in the community.
  3. Support collection and perform analysis and interpretation of data.
  4. Support and deliver training for Quality Improvement (QI) and Safety Science (SS).
  5. Plan and execute activities for culture building on QI and SS.
  6. Support various Quality and Safety committees/workgroups in the Hospital.
  7. Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline.
  2. Candidates with healthcare experience preferred. Entry-level graduates from reputable universities are welcome to apply.
  3. 1 year of working experience preferably with Improvement Sciences exposure e.g., Model for Improvement, Six Sigma, Lean, Human Factors, Design Thinking, Psychology, Sociology.
  4. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  6. Facilitation, communication capabilities and project management skills will be an added advantage.
  7. Good attention to details and able to work independently with appropriate coaching.
