About the role

You serve as the primary conduit between Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) and MINDEF/Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)/Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) by managing daily administration and task monitoring within the Fleet.

What you will be working on

  • Provide support in HR Management (HRM) and HR Administration (HRA) for NSmen within Fleet
  • Address other areas of concern affecting NSmen
  • Organise cohesion and engagement events, awards/medal ceremonies, and commander dialogues for NSmen
  • Manage assigned Personnel Support Group (PSG) NSmen to perform HRA tasks

Challenge(s)

  • Managing expectations and administrative needs proactively
  • Providing timely support to minimise disruption
  • Keeping abreast of administrative functions performed by various agencies within the organisation
  • Tracking and following up on matters in a timely manner, given the size of the NSmen population and varying timelines

What we are looking for

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience is preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Organised and disciplined approach to work
  • Prior experience and knowledge in NS administration and/or Service Delivery is preferred/advantageous
