The Senior Executive / Market Advisor helps Singapore companies expand internationally by providing guidance, market insights, and support to establish and grow their presence overseas. You’ll focus on markets in North America, Europe, Central Asia, working to connect Singapore businesses with opportunities abroad while building partnerships with local and foreign companies. This role reports to the Country Head.
Job Responsibilities
Building Relationships:
- Build and maintain connections with Singapore and foreign companies, as well as key stakeholders like political officeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective, customer-focused solutions.
Market Expertise and Strategy:
- Research and analyze market trends in assigned regions (North America, Europe, Central Asia)
- Create strategies for prioritizing markets and identifying business opportunities for Singapore companies.
- Provide advice, facilitate partnerships, and assist in business matching to help companies achieve deals and contracts.
Supporting Singapore Businesses:
- Plan and manage events like market B2B roundtables, business missions, and networking sessions to promote market awareness.
- Assist Singapore companies with market entry, partnerships, investments, and setting up operations abroad.
- Build a network of local and international partners to strengthen market connections and knowledge.
Delivering Customer Excellence:
- Coordinate activities and events to help businesses explore and understand overseas markets.
- Follow up with Singapore companies to ensure successful outcomes from business missions and events.
- Track and report on event outcomes and business engagements in CRM.
Secretariat Duties:
- Write country briefs and talking points for internal stakeholders.
- Host and assist with events involving political leaders and foreign delegations.
- Provide administrative support to team leads.
Job Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in international business development, with knowledge of North America, Europe, Central Asia markets preferred, but not necessary.
- Ability to work across cultures and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, adaptable to multitasking and new situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A people-person, responsible and accountable for work assigned
