What the role is:
This strategic role leads MUIS's workforce planning initiatives to ensure optimal staffing and capabilities for current and future needs. The position involves analysing workforce trends, developing talent strategies, and managing Human Resource (HR) information systems (WorkDay/Cumulus and ODIN). Key responsibilities include overseeing system security, user training, and records management. The role also provides essential backup for Compensation & Benefits functions. Successful candidate requires strong analytical skills, systems knowledge, and the ability to translate workforce insights into practical solutions while working collaboratively across departments.
What you will be working on:
Strategic Workforce Planning:
- Analyse labour market trends and future workforce needs
- Align workforce strategies with organisational goals
- Identify workforce gaps and develop solutions
- Implement change management strategies
- Develop and track 5-year workforce plans with stakeholders
Systems Administration:
- Oversee WorkDay/Cumulus HR modules and ODIN reporting system
- Manage system access rights and security
- Coordinate system updates and user testing
- Conduct user training
- Maintain organisational structure in systems
- Handle system-related audit queries
Knowledge Management:
- Oversee HR records digitisation and management
- Manage transition to digital filing system
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide backup for Compensation and Benefits team
- Support other HR initiatives as needed
- Maintain staff handbook and HR portal
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary education in HR, Business, Public Administration or related field
- Strong stakeholder management and partnership building abilities
- Strategic thinker with drive to transform public service delivery
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- 3-5 years in workforce planning, talent development or HR. Public sector experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with knowledge of data analytics and AI tools preferred
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly in fast-paced settings
Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.
