What the role is:
This role encompasses comprehensive investment and asset management responsibilities. The position holder will evaluate and develop investment strategies while managing the Group's real estate portfolio through strategic planning and execution. They will oversee both cash and property investments, focusing on optimising returns and maintaining effective liquidity management. The role involves conducting detailed financial analysis and market research to identify promising investment opportunities. Additionally, they will prepare management reports and serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on investment decisions, risk management, and asset optimisation strategies. This position requires expertise in both financial investment management and real estate portfolio oversight to drive sustainable growth and maximise returns.
What you will be working on:
- Evaluate and recommend investment strategies and asset allocation models to drive sustainable portfolio growth
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimise the Group’s real estate portfolio through divestment, revitalisation, or sale of assets
- Lead the oversight of the Group’s cash and property investments, ensuring effective management of liquidity, return on investment, maturity profiles, valuations, and tenancy performance
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and market trend forecasting to uncover high-potential investment opportunities and enhance financial outcomes
- Prepare timely and insightful management and investment reports to support strategic decision-making
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on investment planning, risk mitigation, and asset optimisation initiatives.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accountancy, Finance, or Real Estate
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in accounting, investment or treasury function
- Knowledge of financial and property management is advantageous
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with internal stakeholders and external agencies
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel (advanced financial modelling preferred), PowerPoint and PowerBI.
Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.
