Job summary

A governmental organization in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented individual for their Invoice Processing Team. Responsibilities include timely processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accurate application of G/L codes, and performing analytics for process improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience in Accounts Payable, preferably with SAP knowledge. A two-year contract position is offered.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role is advantageous.
  • Qualifications in Accounting or Finance will be an advantage.
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail.

What the role is:

What you will be working on:

The Invoice Processing Team is responsible for supporting the payments deliverables of FSSC with timely and accurate processing of all payments, in particular invoices submitted by vendors.Key Responsibilities• Responsible and accountable to process assigned vendor e-invoices, e-credit memos and e-claims• Responsible and accountable to process assigned hardcopy invoices, credit memos and claims received in the central AP mailbox• Ensure consistent application of G/L account codes and follow up with external parties and relevant approving authorities to accurately certify invoices• Perform post payment analytics exception review and investigation• Review reports and data required for automation and process improvement projects.• Key input provider on the system architecture• Overall monitoring of key performance of the AP team such as number of pending invoices not processed• Responsible for investigation and problem resolution encounter by the AP team• POC with vendor for AP team

What we are looking for:

a) Experiences• Qualifications in Accounting or Finance will be an advantage• Prior experience in a Accounts Payable role will be an advantage• Prior experience in using SAP will be an advantage• Prior experience of working in a shared services environment will be an advantage.b) Attributes• Dedicated team member• Meticulous with an eye for detail• Strong with numbers and analytical• Independent and self-driven• High comfort level with applying technology in daily workAll new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
