Job description

You will be involved in the management, optimization, and support of imaging informatics systems to ensure seamless workflows and enhanced patient care. You will also serve as a key resource for first-level on-call support, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues. Your job duties include:

  • Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of imaging informatics systems, including RIS, PACS, and EMR.
  • Support the development and utilization of AI solutions in medical imaging for improved efficiency and diagnostic accuracy
  • Serve as the first point of contact for imaging-related system issues, providing on-call support to address and resolve urgent problems
  • Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and IT teams to ensure efficient data flow and image accessibility
  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to maximize system utilization
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
  • Document and escalate unresolved issues to second-level support or vendors when necessary
  • Keeping updated in AI and imaging informatics to recommend and implement innovative solutions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data security protocols
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and validation to maintain optimal performance.


Requirements

  • Degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Radiography or a related field
  • Experience with imaging informatics systems (e.g., RIS and PACS,). and strong understanding of imaging standards such as DICOM and HL7 will be an added advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work on-call shifts, including after-hours and weekends, as part of a rotation schedule.
