A leading company in Singapore is seeking an HR Manager to oversee comprehensive HR functions, ensuring compliance with local laws and developing policies across business units. The ideal candidate will have a degree in HR or related fields and 3 to 5 years of experience, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and offboarding.
Ensure compliance with all local employment laws and regulations.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and handbooks across business units.
Provide HR advisory support to management and employees on HR policies, disciplinary matters, employee grievances, and performance issues.
Handle employee lifecycle processes and documentation such as contracts, promotion letters, transfers, and resignations.
Coordinate and manage annual performance appraisal cycles, training needs analysis, and employee development plans.
Mentor a junior HR executive.
Assist in general office administration, including facilities management, office supplies, and service contracts.
Occasionally cover reception duties, including visitor handling, call management, and front desk operations.
Assist in planning and executing annual company events such as Dinner & Dance, including venue sourcing, theme and program planning, vendor management, and logistics.
Coordinate industry/trade events: opening ceremonies, dinners, and forums, managing invitations, registration, guest arrangements, content planning, and logistics.
Liaise across departments and with external partners to ensure alignment and successful execution of events and HR initiatives.
Perform ad-hoc HR and administrative tasks as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
3 to 5 years of related experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within tight timelines.
Ability to work with ambiguity.
