A leading company in the F&B sector is looking for an HR Business Partner to provide strategic support across HR functions. This role demands strong communication and analytical skills, with a focus on performance management, recruitment, and employee relations. The successful candidate will collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to enhance workforce engagement and efficiency while ensuring compliance with HR policies.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant HR work experience; knowledgeable about HR legislation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to build effective relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on HR issues, provide performance management guidance, and manage manpower budgets.
  • Coordinate hiring, conduct interviews, and handle onboarding/offboarding processes.

Job Description

  • Be a business partner and work closely with the line to provide relevant advice pertaining to HR issues and provide support to various key HR initiatives and programmes

  • Provide guidance to employees of business units on HR policies and practices

  • Provide performance management guidance to managers and heads of department on concerns such as staff counselling, career development and disciplinary actions

  • Handle disciplinary issues and grievances of employees of business units to ensure issues are being resolved fairly

  • Implement business unit employment engagement strategies

  • Manage manpower budget and plan for hiring needs for business unit

  • Work closely with and support hiring managers to prepare and post job advertisement, screening of applications and shortlisting candidates to be interviewed

  • Coordinate interview sessions and conduct interview with hiring manager

  • Handle all on-boarding and off-boarding matters

  • Assist performance management review process for the business unit

  • Coordinate in-house training programmes

  • Work closely with HR Shared Services on payroll related matters

Job Requirement

  • At least 2 years of relevant HR work experiences with good knowledge of HR legislation, policies and procedures

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related discipline

  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships with all levels in the organization

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management and priorities management skills

  • Meticulous with an eye for details and numbers

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Ability to multitask effectively and perform under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Able to work independently and in a team

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in F&B industry will be an added advantage.
