Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team for a 6-month contract as a Senior Executive. In this important role, you will directly contribute to our understanding of our customers by analysing customer data and conducting both quantitative and qualitative research. Your work will help us gain valuable insights into what our customers/consumers think, prefer, and how they behave, which will support business decisions aimed at improving overall guest experience.

You will work closely with various teams across the organisation to understand their goals and develop practical research approaches that address key challenges and opportunities. By turning data into clear and useful insights, you will help guide decisions in areas like marketing, product development, and customer experience. Your research will play a vital part in shaping our strategy and ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of our target audience.

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to complete primary research projects and support important research activities across the organisation, giving you a real chance to make a significant contribution.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Analyse customer data from multiple data sources to identify trends, patterns and insights related to customer behaviour, preferences, and satisfaction
  • Present insights and analysis in clear, concise research reports and presentations to internal teams or stakeholders
  • Transform raw data into clear, understandable, and actionable insights and recommendations
  • Conduct both quantitative and qualitative research to support strategic, data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives/goals, hypotheses, or problem statements, and develop appropriate research methodology to address them
  • Support primary and secondary research projects from end to end — including research design, recruitment of respondents, data collection, fieldwork management, data processing, and analysis, transforming data into actionable insights
  • Assist with procurement and financial matters relating to research activities, including the purchase of research incentives, invoice processing and managing budgeting activities

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Research, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in consumer insights, market research, or data analytics role would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, SPSS, and/or SQL
  • Strong knowledge of research methods, both quantitative and qualitative, data analytics, and statistical techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative team player with a willingness to learn
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
  • A good understanding of Design Thinking is a plus
