What the role is

This is a 2-year contract position as an Executive in the CET Academy.

What you will be working on

As a Senior Executive handling audit, grants, and accounting matters, you will provide support in key functional areas of budgets and course fees.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Track & reconcile the disbursement of grants from funding agencies.
  • Ensure timely submission of funding claims and compliance with funding agency requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and resolve outstanding accounts receivables promptly.
  • Regularly maintain and track budget utilisation.
  • Support data and statistics requests from stakeholders.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, including forecasts and fund utilisation reports.
  • Liaise with external parties including auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities on financial matters when required.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and/or participate in the review & implementation of process streamlining and automation as required.

What we are looking for

  • At least 3 years of working experience in Financial Reporting or Accounting.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly possesses an intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good written & oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical skills with a growth mindset.
  • Able to effectively multitask handling multiple projects and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Resilient, meticulous and resourceful.
  • Familiarity with grants, subsidy claims and reconciliation would be an advantage.
