We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to join our finance team. This role is responsible for performing accounts payable operations and supporting various financial functions whilst ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end accounts payable processes, including verification of invoices/claims, processing of payments and postings in SAP
Ensure timely and accurate payments for vendor invoices, grant reimbursement claims and staff claims
Ensure compliance with corporate & grant policies, and documentation requirements
Maintain comprehensive cashbook records and perform regular updates
Prepare monthly journal entries and audit schedules
Handle intercompany reconciliations and confirmations
Manage fixed asset transactions such as additions, disposals, tagging and annual counts.
Support external and internal audit exercises
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function
Requirements
Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Strong working knowledge of SAP and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
