We are looking for a dynamic and energetic team-player who is keen to join and grow with our team as a Senior Executive, Finance.

Reporting to the Head of Finance (HOD), the Senior Executive assists the Head, Finance in the areas of Treasury, Fixed Assets, Account Receivables (AR), monitoring of grants and reimbursement and monthly / yearly closing.

Job Scope:

  • Manage Fixed Assets accounting, including posting entries, maintaining registers, and conducting annual verifications.
  • Oversee government funding receivables, grants management, audits, and claims submissions.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and prepare monthly aging reports.
  • Assist in costing, pricing, payroll reconciliation, GST submissions, and audit preparations.
  • Support staff claims processing, purchase request approvals, and accounting system administration.
  • Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, fixed deposits, banking, and petty cash reimbursements.
  • Ensure timely monthly closing and preparation of balance sheet schedules.
  • Provide revenue analysis by service type and assist in year-end financial closing.
  • Prepare reconciliations, audit schedules, and liaise with external auditors.
  • Lead budgeting exercises, process automation, and system improvement initiatives.
  • Respond promptly to stakeholder queries and provide ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad-hoc projects, new processes, and system implementations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma, Degree in Finance / Accountancy or related discipline
  • Preferably 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, able to work independently and in a team

The successful candidate can expect to earn up to $4,500 basic salary per month, commensurate with experience.
