Senior Executive, Facilities
Job description
- Preparation of Facilities budgets and capital expenditures (capex) to achieve business performance targets.
- Manage and control agreed budgets and capex.
- Assist in sourcing quotations for repairs and maintenance works for all sites.
- Supervise contractors and their work.
- Ensure strict adherence to Corporate Governance.
- Manage and oversee special projects on building renovations / A&A works.
- Propose building improvement works and manage cost savings.
- Preparation of Facilities tender exercises.
- Participation in ESH/WSH, Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Retail Audits.
- Project planning and scheduling.
- Quality control of maintenance work performed.
- Ensure optimum workshop efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Ensure company assets are well maintained and the office environment is conducive to all staff.
- Plan necessary works, arrange contractors, and supervise execution.
- Work closely with vendors in the execution of repairs or maintenance.
- Conduct regular checks on facilities and site inspections.
- Attending and participating in the WSH meetings and matters relating to the Group and MOMs requirements.
- Attending to enquiries from MOM on WSH matters.
- Supervise Facilities and building improvement works including cost savings.
- Responsible for property and facilities agreements and contracts.
- Support the Procurement department in the processes of obtaining and evaluating potential vendors.
- Prepare monthly facilities and progress reports.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in: Building Services / Real Estate Management / Engineering / Facilities Management related.
- Minimum 3 years of multi-disciplinary background and relevant working experience in property/ facilities management (ie both planning and operations).
- Experience in managing properties under Strata (MCST) environments an added advantage.
- Experience in managing industrial and/or residential properties.
- Well versed in Building Maintenance & Strata Management Act (BMSMA).
- Qualification in occupational safety and health will be an added advantage (ESH).
- Experience in Business Continuity and Recovery plans.
- Experience in WSH-related matters.
- ESH / Crisis Management.
