Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Travel Sales & Operations Executive to manage both the sales acquisition and operational execution of group travel bookings. You will be responsible for developing compelling travel proposals, securing competitive supplier quotations, managing full itinerary bookings, and growing the business through active sales engagement.

The position requires occasional travel to conduct site visits, coordinate on-ground arrangements, and ensure quality service delivery.

Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Actively source new travel job opportunities through government-related platforms such as PA Vendors@Gov, GeBIZ, and other institutional procurement systems.
  • Prepare and submit quotations and tender documents in response to government and corporate travel RFQs.
  • Conduct sales presentations to corporate clients, government agencies, unions, and other potential partners to pitch UPlay’s travel solutions.
  • Represent the company at travel fairs, roadshows, networking sessions, and industry events to build visibility and generate new leads.
  • Track and follow up on leads, manage pipelines and achieve monthly sales targets through a mix of inbound and outbound strategies.
Itinerary Planning & Quotation Support
  • Work with the internal sales team to design customised group travel itineraries based on client needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Research and provide recommendations on destinations, activities, and local logistics to enhance the customer experience.
  • Source and negotiate with airlines, hotels, transport companies, attractions, and F&B vendors to secure the best possible rates and value-adds.
Booking & Execution
  • Manage all travel bookings including flights, accommodations, transport, meals, and activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely confirmations and smooth trip execution.
  • Handle special requests, changes in itinerary, and last-minute adjustments with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Prepare and distribute all relevant travel documents including travel briefs, flight itineraries, rooming lists, and insurance coverage.
Post-Trip & Process Improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, sales, and client interactions for reporting and performance tracking.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  • Min 3 years of experience in travel operations, group bookings, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of travel planning, group coordination, and supplier management.
  • Familiarity with booking platforms and travel management systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
