Senior Executive/Executive, Sales

THIS IS A 2-YEARS RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role is part of Singapore Discovery Centre's (SDC) Sales Department and will be responsible for SDC’s sales goals. The jobholder will plan, execute, and manage the sales of events, including but not limited to, pricing, day-to-day sales operations and working with internal departments to meet specifics requirements catered for each event. The successful candidate will report to the Corporate Sales Team Lead.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain long term business relationships with clients by providing consistent sales service, following up on enquiries, and building rapport.
2. Assist, oversee, or participate in sales outreach events, trade shows, and road shows on an as-needed basis.
3. Provide accurate quotations to all sales enquiries in a timely manner.
4. Identify potential sales channels to develop strategies for new business opportunities and achievement of sales targets.
5. Recommend improvements that will positively impact sales and efficiency.
6. Coordinate and conduct visits and event enquiries with internal departments to ensure smooth handover of event execution.
7. Ensure quotations to clients adhere to profit margin guidelines and expenditures meet budget guidelines.
8. Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports.
9. Update the sales productivity system and review action plans for effective searches of sales leads and prospects.
10. Be responsible for managing and monitoring work processes from the initial account acquisition to completion.
11. Perform other duties as directed and required.
