Job description:

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate, execute, and track sourcing strategies to support categories like Facility Mechanical and Electrical systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, HVAC, Electrical switchgears etc), Utilities (Water, Gas, Electricity), Waste Treatment, and Indirect materials (Chemical, Gases, Fuel, Lubricants etc).
  2. Management of repair and maintenance costs, category spend/contracts (Operational Expenditure, OPEX) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) to ensure operations run within budget.
  3. Managing projects related to cost reduction, productivity improvement, and sustainability (Green) initiatives such as energy savings, solar power, PPA, renewable energy certificates, and carbon credits.
  4. Liaise with internal and external units to meet operational requirements.
  5. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal guidelines.
  6. Review specifications, consolidate quotations, and tender documentation.
  7. Negotiate with vendors/contractors to ensure best value and transparent purchasing.
  8. Oversee end-to-end procurement activities including vendor selection, scope definition, RFI/RFT/RFQ, contracting, and post-award management.
  9. Support daily operations like contract renewal, vendor performance management, and procurement requests.
  10. Ensure procurement compliance with policies, casino regulations, SOPs, and ESG standards.
  11. Assist in strategic planning through data analytics and project identification for cost savings and green initiatives.
  12. Support internal and external audits and negotiate contracts and SLAs with stakeholders.
  13. Aim to achieve targeted cost savings at the company or team level.

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
  2. 1-2 years of procurement experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  3. Familiarity with procurement processes (RFQ/RFT/RFI) and contract management.
  4. High accountability, self-motivation, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
  5. Teamwork, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proven stakeholder management abilities, including negotiation and influence.
  7. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple requestors.
  8. Knowledge of SAP/Ariba S2P and/or Reverse Auction tools is a plus.
