Job description:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Formulate, execute, and track sourcing strategies to support categories like Facility Mechanical and Electrical systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, HVAC, Electrical switchgears, etc.), Utilities (Water, Gas, Electricity), Waste Treatment, and Indirect materials (Chemical, Gases, Fuel, Lubricants, etc).
  • Manage repair and maintenance costs, category spend/contracts (Operational Expenditure, OPEX), and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) to ensure operations are within budget.
  • Lead projects related to cost reduction, productivity improvement, and sustainability initiatives (e.g., energy-saving equipment, solar power, PPA, renewable energy certificates, carbon credits).
  • Liaise with internal and external units to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal guidelines.
  • Review specifications, consolidate quotations, and tender documentation.
  • Negotiate with vendors/contractors for cost-effective procurement via transparent processes.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities: vendor selection, scope definition, RFI/RFT/RFQ, contracting, and post-award management.
  • Support daily operations like contract renewals, vendor performance management, and purchase request/order reviews.
  • Ensure purchases adhere to procurement policies, casino regulations, and SOPs.
  • Maintain compliance with Safety and ESG standards in sourcing processes.
  • Assist in strategic planning through data analytics and strategic actions.
  • Identify projects for cost savings and green initiatives.
  • Support audits and negotiate contracts and SLAs with stakeholders.
  • Aim to achieve targeted cost savings at the company/team level.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
  • 1-2 years procurement experience, preferably in hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes (RFQ/RFT/RFI) and contract management.
  • High accountability, self-motivation, strategic and critical thinking, and good business acumen.
  • Team player with project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple requestors.
  • Knowledge of SAP/Ariba S2P and reverse auction tools is a plus.
