A leading company in education is seeking a Programme Planner to manage academic schedules and resources. This role involves liaising with academic teams for timetable planning, managing lecturer assignments, and collaborating on curriculum development. Candidates should possess a degree and relevant planning experience, with strong organizational and communication skills.
Programme Planning & Scheduling
Setup overall schedules and plan programme pathways.
Plan and schedule timetables with the scheduling system (Syllabus Plus) and release timetables within the given timeframe.
Work with Academic Directors for lecturer (Full Time/Associates) teaching assignments and to ensure full-time academics are prioritized and optimally assigned.
Provide accurate information and schedules promptly and update relevant stakeholders as necessary.
Liaise with vendors for outsourced tasks, such as lecturer placement, issuance of contract and payroll processing etc including marking fees, and support in providing necessary data and information where required.
Managing and updating the pool of Associated Lecturers.
Assist with honorarium budgeting.
Resource Planning & Data Management
Plan and manage resources (e.g. room, lecturers) using Syllabus Plus to ensure smooth delivery of programmes.
Input, maintain and update information and data via the student management system and / or other applicable applications.
Ensure teaching staff are registered with CPE for the modules taught.
Work with the Academic team to engage internal and external parties for curriculum development as needed.
Exams
Work with the Exam Centre to plan examination schedules for assigned programmes.
Liaise with the Exam Centre for main and re-exams.
Others
Assist with student enquiries and department activities as needed.
Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.
Requirements
Degree in any discipline.
1-2 years of relevant working experience in planning.
Prior experience in Private / Education Industry preferred.
Good team working skills and a flexible approach to delivering team results.
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize own work independently to achieve agreed results and, at times, under pressure.
Good Oral and written communication skills and ability to liaise and network with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills with good level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
Good understanding of higher education qualifications in Singapore and Internationally.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge and experience in using resource optimization tools will be advantageous.
