Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior / Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and Informatics related projects within the Division to ensure efficient and accurate laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day operations of LIS and dedicated first-line support to SGH laboratories

• Provide 24/7 on-call support for interfaces/application troubleshooting and system maintenance, as required

• Facilitate and support IT and Informatics related projects by coordinating with stakeholders and providing secretariat support

• Assist Supervisor in implementing new IT security measures and initiatives, including audit and policy updates

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Preferably a degree in Computer Science or Biomedical Sciences

• 1-2 years' experience in LIS support and maintenance (advantageous)

• Good understanding of laboratory workflows and medical terminology

• Previous hospital lab experience is an advantage

• Strong administration and organizational skills with attention to details

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams
